III. Installation and Debugging:  

3.1 The rectifier cabinet must be installed indoors.

3.2 Pay attention to the following after unpacking and before installation of the device:

3.2.1 Do not keep outdoors.

3.2.2 Check the easily damaged parts (silicon element, meter, relay, indicator light and standard parts).

3.2.3 Check whether the fasteners at each connection are loose or fall off.

 3.3 Check the insulation resistance of the main circuit and control circuit before electrical installation (the two poles of the silicon elements and capacitor shall be short-circuited before test and all external wires of the control panel shall be disconnected before the test).

3.4 Make electrical connection for the major loop according to the system diagram.

3.5 Control circuit debugging:

 3.5.1 Make related test (test light and sound) according to the circuit diagram.

3.52 Debug the trigger circuit and limit and adjust related values according to the circuit diagram and the attached figure.

 3.6 Online test:

 3.6.1 When conditions permit, conduct the test with small capacity first, temporarily connect the maintenance resistance R with R=UdN/5(Ω), keep full open status, rise to 1.1 times DC voltage with a voltage regulator, keep for 30min to see whether the circuit is abnormal, adjust α to electric angle 30°, 60°, 90° and 120° and observe whether the rectifying waveform is normal.

 3.6.2 Fixed phase and no-load test:

          Connect the primary power supply of the rectifier transformer, confirm and verify the phase relation between the main circuit and the control trigger circuit, connect the main circuit power supply and the control power supply and check whether the fixed phase is correct and the pulse improvement.

 3.6.3 No-load test:

           Move the pulse to full open position, apply 1.1 times rated DC current to the rectifier cabinet, keep 15min without abnormality and then use the pulse phase shift to make the output voltage close to 0. Keep 5-10min under positive and negative blocking without abnormality and make the no-load external characteristic curve Ud=f(α).

3.7 The device can be put into closed-loop control (automatic) operation after the load open-loop (manual) operation and all parts are fully normal. The current oscillation, if any, can be eliminated through adjustment of W5 on TC-11 control panel. Normal operation is generally closed-loop operation with automatic steady current.
